PRIVACY POLICY.

How customer, order, support, and technical data is handled.

Effective date: July 25, 2026
01

Who is responsible

Volt District LLC is responsible for personal data used to operate this storefront, manage pre-orders, provide customer support, coordinate delivery, meet legal duties, and protect the service.

This policy does not publish personal details or additional corporate identifiers. Privacy requests may be submitted through the support channel displayed on the storefront or order confirmation.

02

Data we may collect

  • Identity and contact data supplied during checkout, delivery coordination, or support.
  • Order data, including selected model, quantity, price, payment status, shipping choice, delivery status, returns, warranty activity, and communications.
  • Technical and security data such as device, browser, approximate network information, timestamps, page interactions, fraud signals, and diagnostic logs where generated.
  • Cart contents stored locally on the customer’s device and consent choices where a consent tool is used.
  • Any information the customer voluntarily provides when requesting support or exercising a legal right.
03

Why we use data

  • To provide the storefront, process and confirm orders, collect payment through Shopify, allocate products, coordinate shipping, and provide after-sales support.
  • To comply with accounting, tax, consumer-protection, product-safety, fraud-prevention, recall, and lawful authority requirements.
  • To secure the website, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, enforce terms, and establish or defend legal claims.
  • To improve products and the customer experience using proportionate, aggregated, or consent-based information.
  • To send optional marketing only where legally permitted and, where required, after consent.
04

Legal bases

Depending on the processing and applicable law, data is used because it is necessary to perform or prepare a contract, comply with a legal obligation, pursue a legitimate interest that does not override individual rights, protect vital interests, establish legal claims, or act on valid consent.

Where processing relies on consent, consent may be withdrawn for future processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.

05

Who may receive data

  • Shopify and payment-service providers supporting checkout, payment, fraud prevention, and order administration.
  • Hosting, security, communications, customer-support, analytics, and technical service providers acting under appropriate obligations.
  • Manufacturing, logistics, customs, delivery, repair, collection, and warranty partners where necessary for the order.
  • Professional advisers, insurers, financial institutions, courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other authorities where lawfully required.
  • A successor in a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale, subject to lawful safeguards and continued protection.
06

International transfers

Service providers may process data outside the customer’s country. Where law requires, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, binding corporate rules, a permitted exception, or another valid transfer mechanism.

07

Retention and security

Personal data is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including order performance, legal guarantees, accounting, tax, product safety, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and legal claims. Retention periods are reviewed and data is deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect personal data. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

08

Individual rights

  • Depending on location, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection.
  • Individuals may withdraw consent and object to direct marketing at any time.
  • Individuals may complain to the competent data-protection authority.
  • Identity or authority may be verified before a request is completed, and lawful exemptions may apply.
09

Children and policy changes

The storefront is not directed to children who cannot lawfully enter a purchase contract. Volt District LLC does not knowingly seek unnecessary data from children.

This policy may be updated for legal, technical, or operational changes. The effective date will be revised, and material changes will be highlighted where required.
