Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made from Volt District LLC through this storefront and the connected Shopify checkout. By placing an order, the customer confirms that the order information is accurate and that they accept these terms together with the Pre-order, Shipping, Refund, Warranty, Privacy, and Cookie Policies.
The version presented when the order is placed forms part of the contract. Mandatory consumer protections always prevail where they provide greater rights.
Products and specifications
Product pages describe the current target specifications, appearance, included items, and intended use of each Nix model. Images may show pre-production or illustrative details. Minor manufacturing changes may be made for safety, compliance, reliability, or supply reasons.
If a change materially reduces the principal characteristics advertised at the time of order, Volt District LLC will inform the customer and provide the remedies required by applicable law, which may include the option to cancel for a full refund.
Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in euros. The motorcycle price, applicable taxes, shipping charges, and any other mandatory cost will be shown before the customer confirms payment. No unannounced charge is added after checkout.
Pre-orders require full payment through the Shopify checkout. A payment authorization alone does not guarantee acceptance; the order is accepted when the order confirmation is issued.
Orders and availability
Volt District LLC may reject or cancel an order for a genuine pricing error, suspected fraud, payment failure, legal restriction, unavailable delivery destination, or inability to supply the selected model. Any amount collected for an order that is not accepted will be refunded.
Purchase quantities may be limited where reasonably necessary to protect allocation availability or prevent resale abuse.
Pre-orders and delivery
The current delivery estimate is 12–14 weeks after order confirmation. It is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date. Production, inspection, transport, customs, regulatory, and carrier events can affect timing.
The Pre-order Policy and Shipping Policy explain allocation, updates, address confirmation, delay handling, dispatch, and the special project-cancellation commitment.
Safe and lawful use
- The customer must follow the owner information, charging instructions, maintenance schedule, weight limits, and safety warnings supplied with the motorcycle.
- The customer is responsible for checking licensing, registration, insurance, age, equipment, and road-use requirements in the place where the motorcycle will be used.
- A model or configuration described as off-road must not be used on public roads unless it has the approvals and equipment required by local law.
- A helmet and appropriate protective equipment should always be used.
Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, defective products, or mandatory consumer remedies.
Subject to mandatory law, Volt District LLC is not responsible for indirect commercial loss, unlawful use, racing, unauthorized modification, misuse, failure to maintain the motorcycle, or use contrary to safety instructions.
Law, disputes, and changes
These terms do not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Any dispute may be brought before a competent court or dispute-resolution body available under applicable law.
Future policy changes apply prospectively. Material terms governing an accepted order will not be changed retroactively without the customer’s agreement, except where required by law.
